KISS - Monster (Release: Oct, 5 EU, Oct, 9 North America - Universal)

And finally here it is the latest by Kiss after three years since their latest release. I must confess my expectations weren't high on this album, i had the conviction that it was going to be something with a modern vibe and a couple of empty ballads but nothing is further from reality. Monster it's a shot straight to your brain... the album is full of raw sounds, actally it reminds of Revenge specially because of the sound while guitar solos and some riffs will take you to the earlier albums by the band back in the 70's.
The album was produced by Paul Stanley and Greg Collins and recorded using analog equipment in search of a stronger and more natural sound.
First single released is Hell Or Hallelujah an electric cut with catchy chorus and a perfect election while next single will be Long Way Down.
In summary, a good album that Kiss and Hard Rock fans will enjoy... but though when released will reach USA top 5 in six or seven weeks will be out of the Top 100 of the week's more popular albums.
I could waste your time describing each and every cut but i think it would be better for you to listen to some sounds from this album to have your own opinion so... enjoy Monster!!
