SOUTHGANG - Tainted Angel & Group Therapy (Released: 1991 & 1992, Charisma)
The same story is repeated again but this time with Southgang. These guys from Georgia played good Hard Rock with some southern influences but they were soon erased from earth's surface because of the grunge explosion. Another reason for their commercial failure is another well known story about CEO's that don't know a shit about music so they use to fail in every decision they take, that's the only reason why a masterpiece like Aim For The Heart written by Desmond Child and Diane Warren was never released as single.
As i told you before, Southgang dissappeared soon after releasing only a couple of albums Tainted Angel and Group Therapy but guitarrist Butch Walker went his way in the music business becoming a successful writer and producer. Though Group Theraphy is a little weak these guys from Georgia deserved to have a better luck.

RED FUN - S/t (Released: 1993, BMG-Cherion/Pony Canyon)
Kee Marcello (Ex-Europe, Easy Action) and Freddie Von Gerber (Easy Action's drummer) decided to join forces again in 1993 to form Red Fun. The band was completed by Thomas Persson (vocals) and Tobbe Moen (bass). Recorded with a low budget don't expect something in the vein of Europe neither Easy Action, Red Fun was in a Rock & Roll style with some touches of Dixie and Blues. The only single released from this album was Doc. Love a funny track that didn't enjoy any success because of the "stinky" wind of grunge that was blowing hard at that time.
Kee Marcello is one of those underrated guitar players that achieves a fantastic guitar work in all the albums he plays and couldn't be any other way in the only album Red Fun released
Polished production for a good album full of groovy cuts.
