ROXY BLUE - Want Some? (Released: 1992, Geffen)

Roxy Blue is another case of a good band at the wrong place at the wrong time... early 90's, but this time you have to add that they looked to similar to Van Halen and sometimes also sounded very close to them  but there only can be one Van Halen.
Those guys from Tennesee knew how to Rock and their only album Want Some? is the proof of that. Produced by Mike Clink this album is full of rockin' tunes with an excellent guitar work but sadly it failed to reach the charts neither none of the two singles released Rob The Cradle and Times Are Changin' so the band soon split.
Any reader of this blog knows that i don't like covers but this time i must say that what Roxy Blue did with Squeeze Box by The Who is amazing. If you enjoy Poison's cover of this tune you'll fall in love with Roxy Blue's version.
So grab a beer and turn up the volume to 10.
