JIMI JAMISON - Never Too Late (Release: Nov 2, EU & Nov 6, USA)
The voice of Survivor is back and his vocals are in better shape than ever. Forget about Pride of Lions or Kimball/Jamison, this album is one step beyond in every way, songwriting is impressive, production is awesome, sound is almost perfect and all that thanks not only to Jamison but also to production guru Erik Martensson whose trademark is in every sound and mainly in backing vocals.
This album is full of energy, amazing mid-tempos and epic ballads but is fair to tell that from song number 8, Calling Your Name, to the end, the album decreases in intensity though Heaven Call Your Name is another soulful cut with a powerful but short guitar solo.
In summary, an album full of great tunes like I Can't Turn Back, The Air I Breath, Not Tonight, Everybody's Got A Broken Heart and the magnificent Never Too Late.
I don't like to use rude words so i apologize...but this album is FUCKIN' GOOD!!
Once again i won't make you waste your time reviewing song by song, you better take a listen to some sounds...

KISS - Monster (Release: Oct, 5 EU, Oct, 9 North America - Universal)
The album was produced by Paul Stanley and Greg Collins and recorded using analog equipment in search of a stronger and more natural sound.
First single released is Hell Or Hallelujah an electric cut with catchy chorus and a perfect election while next single will be Long Way Down.
In summary, a good album that Kiss and Hard Rock fans will enjoy... but though when released will reach USA top 5 in six or seven weeks will be out of the Top 100 of the week's more popular albums.
I could waste your time describing each and every cut but i think it would be better for you to listen to some sounds from this album to have your own opinion so... enjoy Monster!!

THE STORM - S/t (Released: 1991, Interescope) - Eye Of The Storm (Released: 1995, Music For Nations, Miramar)
Soon, Steve Smith left the band replaced by Ron Wisko and the group toured with Bryan Adams, Peter Frampton, Eddie Money and others.
The new line-up recorded their new album Eye Of The Storm in '93 but Interscope decided to drop it due to changing times in music. Was in '95 when Music For Nations released this masterpiece only in Europe while Miramar did it in the U.S. though The Storm was already disbanded.
Two essential albums in any music collection.

DOKKEN - Broken Bones (Released: Sep, 2012 - Frontiers Records)
After 4 years since their last release and with new bass player Sean McNabb, Dokken is back with Broken Bones. The album keeps the vibe of the last releases by the band, old school Hard Rock with some modern elements.
Though sales for the band are not impressive, 10 millions albums worldwide, Dokken has a fantastic reputation between Hard Rock fans mainly because of the great musicians always involved with the band but the main problem remains in this album. Though Don Dokken is a good singer his vocals are too mellow for a Rock band so the music and his voice do not fit at all... that's my opinion.
Anyway, a good album that Dokken fans will enjoy.

Rock The Nights is proud to present A.H.M.A.D.
John Grundback (bass guitar), Berny C. Nader (drums & percusion), Brooks Slamm (vocals) and AHMAD (lead, rhythm & acoustic guitars, background vocals) are the members of this band based in L.A. that displays raw Hard Rock with influences from Glam Rock and Heavy Metal but with a very personal and distinctive sound. That's one of the reasons why A.H.M.A.D. was ranked # 1 in the Slash Guitar Center contest and why the guys will be playing with legendary Glam band Faster Pussycat to celebrate Halloween on the Sunset "Strip" @ The Whiskey Oct. 31st.
The band is right now recording their debut so stay tuned for what with no doubt will be a killer album!!
No more words, you better listen to the guys talking about their experience, feelings and future.
Part 2 coming soon...
